just thought I'd share a few things I have noticed in the last few weeks 1.Netty (sp) in the staging lanes and anywhere else she is needed, is going to be a great thing for gateway's bracket program. if you are not familiar with Norwalk and their points program, check it out, She may not have been solely responsible for it but she will bring that thought process to the table....she has been exploring sponsor opportunities for next year, if you have any look her up
2 free beer at the bar after some of the races last week...i don't expect that often but it was sure nice and created a lot of dialog amongst staff and racers...kudos to the management on that one
3 I'm very excited about the prospect of racing for 5k once a month next season. the 3 day format is what excites me the most...multi day races are conducive to a good time by all imp
in summary I've been asking for this kind of EFFORT from wwt for years and now that I'm seeing it I'm urging every one to get on board and spread a little good will

I've noticed the same. I think the double header divisional was a great success and the place has a great atmosphere for a good time. I am glad to see them trying to leverage this for next year. If the series doesn't get supported next year, I'll just be completely dumbfounded.

Is Pit Pay here to stay ? I don't know how anyone else feels but I'm not going to use it and if the track is going to keep penalizing me I doubt I will be at WWT raceway much in the future

Pretty sure it's here to stay. Seems to work for almost everyone. You're not being penalized. You wait a little longer to get in and lose one time run. If first round doesn't work out, buy back. That happens with two times runs.

I had no issues with the pit pay deal and seems 90% of the people coming didn't have much of an issue with it, so it may be here again next year. I'm very excited for next season, it's the best program they have attempted to put together for us local guys in over 20 years! Heck, I am almost concerned on putting to many laps on the car in a season! We used to put 300-400 a season years ago without even thinking about it, now for the last 15 years, I am in the 100-125 range. If your a racer that runs both classes, next year on the points weekends, you can run 6 races in the weekend between the Friday gambler, both classes in the 2 points races and then the big Saturday 5k race! Should be a lot of fun and I think we will see a lot of racers there weekly that we haven't in a long time!

My concern Clay is identity theft , I didn't mind so much giving my credit card number but I wasn't going to give them a photo copy of my drivers licence . What would be next - mothers maiden name ? I'm not saying don't have Pit Pay , those who want to use it use it I shouldn't be penalized for not wanting to

LOL This season with pit pay, they gave me a code to use for the season. You just enter the promo code and that got you in the gates, then just told them your name and gold card at the booth to get your tech card. Pretty simple deal.

I agree this is the best local season ever put together by gateway. And possibly the best paying points series in the country as far as a weekly cash payout with the 5k10k points races .I’m also concerned about all the laps on the stuff. I have a preliminary plan to skip the day races and only run at night . I might also try something never done in the summer time . And put the “big bubbas“ to the test. Especially if I double enter

Especially if I double enter It all depends on the full payout of the night race. The program will be great, but it still won't hold a candle to Norwalk, but I don't expect them to match Norwalk, that will never happen! If the 5k races pay $500 RU, then we might as well look at them like 3k races, but that is still a great addition!
