Ok I have been feeling kinda bad since yesterday for something I did third round at 5 cars and thinking a win is the bye to the final, but I’m wondering did I do the right thing or was I being unsportsmanlike. I was dialed like 14.68 and my opponent was dialed 14.40 and I saw in the water on the little dial board mine was correct his was 11.40 so we both burned and he was inching up to stage right beside me and I was like crap just take the win so we both staged and I saw it was still wrong in the big board so I just made sure not to go red and it was over . What would you guys die in the heat of the moment? Just curious

Drag racing karma got you the next round with the ol’ red eye JP! lol...
It’s not your job to watch his board, that was his responsibility. Be safe.

You did nothing wrong. It's his fault. Like everyone says, if you stage you accept the dial.
