I for one wish they would prep track before time runs not before first round of Pro and they do a good job on starting line but down track in the middle somewhere it gets a little scary some days especially after a night that had some rain. I didn't notice it when i ran a slower car but the lighter faster cars getting loose some days and nights is a little scary at times in the middle of track maybe a little more of the sticky farther down. I realize the glue is expensive but there was 2 days last year when both lanes were slick for me and my car i almost didn't return to lanes those nights for thinking it was to slick and didn't want to wad it up. I did return after trying both lanes anyway because i guess i'm just stupid. On at least one of those nights it was effecting the slower cars too they were all changing lanes to try and see if other was better. Just my 2 cents maybe it was just me and my car. I also agree with Clay points participation has been lower since no extra incentives. Might help the number of points entrants and car counts because we all know when chasing championships you need to be there every race or why enter! This is spot on. Im always one of the first to know when the track is going to crap. I have always hated being one of the first to go down in Pro in elims right after they spray. Seems like the first few pair its a little slimy. Yes I have also had the down track pucker factor. Im on a small tire and just figured it was just me most the time.

How about no-prep bracket racing ! that would make things interesting

Nothing makes Jeremy happier than being first pair out after the spray, drag and/or put down gold dust.

reaction time determines the bye, all the way to the final...one bye per car period..reaction time should determine ladder if used as well

Agree 100% on reaction time for bye run. I could care less about people getting multiple bye runs. I just hate bye run being closest to dial.

We say it every year, but I think putting together a good points series would be great for the track. How about a bonus money night a couple races through the season. I am not suggesting a $5000 payout night, just maybe a $2000 super pro and $1500 pro night a couple times. I don't think they even have to mess with the rest of the payout, just add it to the top. I’d like to see this too, but they MUST get the word out early to attract additional participation.

They do it before pro a lot. Most likely my opponent will not be close to their dial and I will be able to run mine. I didn’t have a problem mid track last year but my cars are slow too.

Hopefully the bye doesn't start over at the ladder unless of course every one left has already had a bye

I know Jason was there and knows most of the details, but from what I was told, it sounds like a lot of really good things came from the meeting last week! Looks like there will be even be some perks to those that sign up for the points series, which I think is good. Oh, and I was also told that yes, they are going to reaction time as the bye run and also the bye run will carry over if you don't get it until the ladder rounds where ladder will be from RT too. Probably still have a shot at 2 bye runs, but I'm not sure on it. I'm getting excited to get going though. We are going to start assembling the new engine today, hoping to be able to run side heads up ET with my buddy Ron this year!

It’s basically the same rules as it has been since 1999 thru 2010. The bye will be on RT it will roll until the ladder starts and then we re rack and for get what happened prior to the ladder just like it has been for years. Should simplify things
