I'm a little surprised by some reactions. No wonder there is talk of cheating all the time. Different people have different definitions of cheating. And maybe using the phrase twisting the rules was a mistake. What I really meant and tried to clear up at first is that people want to know the rules so they can use them to their advantage. Thats why the big curiousity about what the rules are. And there is nothing necessarily wrong with that. In every for of racing the rules are pushed.

Gotta ask, how is bumping someone into the other lane twisting the rules? If I am on the bye run and already know my next round opponent and know they have ran the same lane all night, I will make my bye run in their lane and try to bump them over the next round. That's not twisting the rules that's racing smart. Some folks 'round here don't like smart...

You just hope the official interprets them the same way you do ;-)

There are rules and then "rules" Each track seams to use a different standard mind set at to what they will enforce and those they make as a suggestive rule thise are the worse rules because no one know at what point will they enforce it or against whom Kinda like a discretionary rule They choose when

Now that I have grown bored with stirring the pot I will say this - 1st I know of no rule against double bulbing , believe it is called courtesy stageing when you light the pre-stage bulb and wait for your opponent to light the pre-stage bulb , courtesy is a choice not mandatory . 2nd throwing your opponent to the other lane , I've seen this tactic used many times , sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't I know of no rule against this . 3rd I don't see a problem of trying to pair someone ahead of you in points in fact I don't see a problem with someone putting out a bounty to beat someone I like the drama lol. I don't even know of a rule against duck hunting though it maybe sad or pathetic not illegal . Now I know their are a lot of rules I don't know ( never looked at a rule book ) but If I have a Question there are a lot of people that I trust to ask . so on and so on
