I saw the flyer and I like it. Only $100 per card and the Dial for dollars is awesome.

Is the class entry for the event? Or per day? Looks like it is for the whole weekend. Except for the $20 time run on race day. Sounds like fun.

I think it is 100 per entry per day. Double entry each day equals 400.

That's got to be a misprint. Now I know at the SCSN they charge an $80.00 racer fee plus your tech card entry fee and that is for real!

To me, there is a spectator who pays to watch the entertainment. Then there's the racer who provides the entertainment for the spectator. Racer pays to race for prize money. Not to just be able to enter the property to have the opportunity to enter the race. Maybe this is a way to keep money if it rains out? Still don't like it.

If I remember it correctly they did lower the actual race entry fees a little because of the grumblings on here. If we could charge our customers a fee just to walk in the door before we do any work (and then charge them for the work) that would be awesome. But I don't think it would go over too well.

Run a great race that people enjoy and feel like they were treated well and fairly with a great payout and you will fill the place because it's the race to be at. It's a simple model that other tracks are cashing in on. Piss people off once and they won't travel back this way any time soon. An extra $30 fee just because we feel like it has the potential to piss some people off.
Seems like most tracks go the other direction and give you a discount for early entry.
