Congrats to Bob Brooks for Runner up in Pro Fri Start Sat morning Finish almost had to give $100.00 for a mopar winning . Heard he took out some tuff Paws along the way to the final . And I took a unexpected day off Friday from racing went backed picked up trailer at noon . Saw several that didnt race Thursday heading east on 44 as I was heading west to our place . The car counts were good both days but with only one time run projected for Friday why did it take just as long as Thursday even with 2 time runs and the Lipka mass destruction and who lost a T-top 2nd one that has been lost in pass couple years ? I've seen several racers breakout as another broke dies on starting line and thats not looking over to check the other at finish line .I've seen Wesleys rant on GMP site . Congrats to all who endured the late nites I think a non points nite on these days is right .

The thing that took all the time was the radial cars. They preped the track so well before they ran that it was two hours between passes for the first three rounds. That's what I didn't like but it did blow my theory on humidity with alcohol cars. In 95% humidity when my moped and generators would not start because of so much humidity in round three . My car made the fastest run all weekend because of good track prep I guess ? I could not believe my eyes when I saw the score board

The sunroof that blew out of the GTO was a Webasto 710. Currently under a national recall for glass blowout. The glass manufacturer used a adhesive which created corrosion on the metal frame the glass was attached to. We have replaced hundreds of these at our shop. The owners should have received the recall notice. Good news is no cost to the customer. Better news we get paid well to repair it.. Parts on order! This recall goes all the way back to 2004, must be costing the glass manufacturer ton.
