No gain as the other two classes Since soortsman is 1/4 And s pro is 1/8 So I'd say it was a loss The goal should always be more I figured the number in pro would be the same because same players but I do believe it would have seen a much larger increase had they kept it 1/4 jmo As for s pro those guys love 1/8 mile there is 5 on there hasnt made a hit Make it 6 cars now since I just signed up for superpro. Does that mean 1 less car in Pro points ?

Only over 40% more participation. Yeah, no change. Not quite 40-% Total increase over 3 classes of only 36 entries Which in reality is @ 8% total Last year total entries was tic over 77 Entries this year just over 108 So looking at it totally increase of double digits is a great thing for two of three classes One has to wonder as to why you didn't see the increase in which what has been the biggest class for years did not see the big jump in points entries Im not knocking the two other classes. Just wonder as to why you do not see that big of interest in pro as you see in the a pro and sportsman ranks I don't have a clue how you got 8%. I'm no math teacher but this is how you really calculate it. Original amount 77. New amount 108. Difference of 31. 31 divided by 77 times 100 = 40.25974%.

Sure, Any novice can win Sportsman Lol. That's why the class is growing. anyone who thinks its a beginner class hasn't given it a shot.

Those guys don't have trans brakes, delay box, rev limiters or auto shifters. Plus their cars are slow how can they be any good?

When calculating percent of increase or decrease you divide the difference by the original number. I found you a website that has an example with pictures but if you can't wrap your mind around that I can work out another example in crayon. m.wikihow.com/Calculate-Percentage-Increase

I teach machine shop not math, but even I can calculate percentages! Not even 10%, where did you learn math? Any way no need to go back and forth about this with someone who doesn't understand. By the way Dennis you can't triple stamp a double stamp!

Of course he probably won't agree that the mathematicians can decide how it's done just as he doesn't believe nhra can make their own rules.

Not that it maters, but I'm a CPA and calculate percentages for a living and am licensed by the State of Missouri to calculate percentages. Although Jeremy claims not to be a math teacher, he has successfully described the proper technic. Thanks Jeremy for your lesson. Lol. I believe you are now in fact a teacher of math. Lol. Congratulations.
