I just got an email that in order to advance to the runoff of the Wally that the class winners Saturday will have to beat the previous years track champion in that class. Kinda cool I think.

Well the winner in Pro will not have to spank me, because I will not be present. I am flying out to Long Island, New York to go watch a hockey game.

I'm really indifferent and I don't know why they would want to do this but it seems to me that it should be this years champs.

Will the winner from that day receive a bye run if the past years champ isn't present?

I will visually run the race in my mind while setting on the airplane. I think I am going to have a .024 package, so if the racer who wins pro Saturday gets a bye run against me, they need to beat a .024 package or load it up!

The winners from today’s race will face-off in the NHRA King of the Track Run-Off. The match-ups will go as follows: • All King of the Track match-ups will be contested as 1/8 mile. Compulink cross-talk will not be used. •The 2013 Pro Motorcycle Champion will race against the 2013 Street Motorcycle Champion to determine 2013 bike Champion representatives. •The 2013 champion in each class will race the 10/25/15 winner in each class to determine King of the Track representative. • The two motorcycle class winners (Pro and Street) will run-off to determine one (1) motorcycle representative in the King of the Track Run-Off. The 2013 champion in each class will race the 10/25/15 winner in each class to determine King of the Track representative. • A blind draw for round 1 pairings will be conducted for Super Pro, Pro, Motorcycle and Sportsman winners. 2 rounds will be run. Overall winner will be named “King of the Track.”

I think its bull to have a champion of a class race from 2013 now getting to race the winner of the king of track race .Unless he races himself .LOL I'm not taking away from any Champions but you've earned it and got free entry and other perks for 2014 . I just don't understand the GET FREE PASS to race the guys who wins that race .You have 2 shots at it as a walk in and or win the race that nite to able to compete in the final 4 shootout .
