The tree has been fully blinded since the SCSN event in August. I like it except for in the event you have to crossover with no cross talk. Not going to make this event as I am done for the season so good luck to everyone going this weekend.

Seems like the solution would be to turn cross talk on and then allow racers to turn it off by placing a N after their dial. At least though the are telling it now and now springing it right before the run off.

Cross talk has always been on in the past with a s/p car. And if you were a pro car you could not put a box in. If you were running against a s/p car

Cross talk has always been on in the past with a s/p car. And if you were a pro car you could not put a box in. If you were running against a s/p car I always thought that was stupid that Gateway did that. It was like that when big Al was head of tech, but not sure if that unwritten rule is still there with the adding a delay box. My thought on that is that it is a runoff and you are no longer racing in that class, so whats the big deal. With the blinders its going to screw someone either way with the cross talk on or off, either the super pro guy or the bottom bulb guy so that sucks.

I don't know why they don't give the option by using the N after the dial. They already do this in sp and pro bike.

The year Mark Gilliam won they would not turn it off and the bottom bulb guys had to deal with the hanging bulb. If I have the chance and I am a lot faster than my opponent I'm either going off the bottom or dialing slower than they are.

When I ran it at the Nationals it was on. Then again maybe not that was why I was so late.
