I would like to see these "all mechanical changes". There is way too much voodoo hype when it comes to torque converters as it is already.
If Hughes is at the PRI show this year they should have it on display. We'll see just what kind of "real changes" there are in there.
A good converter is one that is intelligently designed for the application and then, here's the important part, manufactured with high quality components by a competent builder. Everything else is snake oil and junk in my opinion.

Just glancing through the article it appears the only thing that they are doing is loosening up the converter, I may be wrong and will read it again. I tried a looser converter on my car once, the 60' was great but it shifted way too early and the MPH just wasn't there.

Sounds like the same converter I already have from them. Just a new approach of advertising the way their stuff works.
