It's $100 plus $60 for the buyback. That gets you one entry and only 1 time run. If you want to T&T friday that's going to cost $30. If you want to do the run for the money, that's one pass for an additional $20. So it's a minimum of $210. $30 for your wife or crew member and now we are at $240.
T&T is 3-6pm. I can't make that. I have to work.

They should learn to proof read. If you can't do the little things, you can't do the big things.

I Dissagree that it's our "Show". We have no control over how it's run. We have no say at all other than show up and participate or go someplace else. We have no imput as far as advertising, marketing, proceedures, payouts, or anything. The track is responsible for all decisions and can't blame the local racers if the track fails. Unfortunately for Gateway there are other tracks. Maybe not as well equipt or convenient but they are out there. And as far as Megabucks is concerned, the fact that a little track like Benton can hold a big buck race that gets so big they are sending people away, says something about Gateway's approach. Maybe Gateway should take a few notes. Like everyone else on here, I want to race at Gateway. Great facility and not too far of a drive for me. I want to see them be sucessful. But I'm not taking responsibilty for any failures they have.

I will miss the old style megabucks races. I agree with the others... the single day event will not draw anyone but the locals. With that in mind this race will probably not pay the "possible $10,000" If we are lucky we would get enough entries to pay $5000. With that in mind I was comparing this to the megabucks race I57 just had. I57's race is a better value... both in payout and fee's. GMP's version is more top heavy plus it just feels like the racer and crew are being squeezed for every last cent. With this new format they have I think it would be better if Friday was free T&T (with purchase of main event entry) and maybe a gamblers race or something. Plus it needs lower spectator/crew costs along with discounts to "double entries" Scott
