Kathleen Su Hitchcock posted this on MAR's FB page. You have a person involved with this race way park that needs to be exposed for what he is Name Ronnie Moss He took 14,080 of our money and signed a contract with us my husband is 77 years old I an 70.He has not finished the job of adding a bathroom to our home he has opened our roof and it is exposed to the elements he has not completed the guttering nor the inside of the room no doors no shelves no electric the water was put in by our family. IS THIS THE KIND OF TRUST WORTHY PERSON YOU WANT ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR WONDERFUL NEW PROJECT THE MID-AMERICA RACE WAY? do you want your reputation to have this kind of a person as a founder? If you need more info please contact the attorney generals office 573-751-3321 for a full report. Why would she hire him if she new the status for 3 years with MARP construction ? When did he start the job ? Was that the total price for job ? Was their a estimated compleition date? Was their mechanics lien applied ? Were permits taken out ? I'm not taking either side just thought it's odd to post on MARPs F.B page . If I had to guess, she probably hired him without knowing he was involved with the track. She may have found out by trying to track him down on the net. As far as details she did say "If you need more info please contact the attorney generals office 573-751-3321 for a full report."

That's sad. I have heard other tales that I believe to be true. What a shame.

he stiffed his attorneys for 40k plus. how many other folks has he taken advantage of? when you really think about it how much "skin" did Ronnie ever have in the game. I contend he had very little to none because he never had any money of his own to put into the venture. the only asset that I can see was ever there was the land that was owned by another individual.as far as mid-America raceway park llc of which Ronnie and his wife are principals was concerned I don't believe it ever had any assets to speak of,if there were any assets in the llc the attorneys would have seized them in order to recover some of the 40k judgement they were granted by the court.

Common consensus is that he is broke.

Common consensus is that he is broke. I wouldn't use the term BROKE, I just don't think he can find the funds to finance the project. Since Dave Hemsath pulled the land out of the deal (they were going to use the land as collateral) the banks wont touch the deal. Latest I heard was that the 3 guys that were trying to buy Gateway before Curtis did are very interested in taking it over but they don't want Ronnie as part of the package and he (Ronnie) wont turn over control of it because he feels that this is his ticket to his future (retirement). I guess it becomes a stalemate because neither side will budge. He was supposed to have several meetings to update everyone on the progress but seeing that there hasnt been any he cancelled the meetings.

Interesting I head that the landowner could not pull out because of contractually obligations. I don't claim anything I posted to be true just rumors. Also by broke I didn't mean he personally was bankrupt only that he didn't have or have access to the millions needed to build the track.

Also by broke I didn't mean he personally was bankrupt only that he didn't have or have access to the millions needed to build the track. Well by the time Ronnie had cleared all the hurtles to finally get the project going Mr. Hemsath must have decided that he needed to consult his legal counsel and they advised him that rather than being a full partner in MAR PARK LLC that he should rather just lease the property to MAR PARK LLC. Once he pulled the property off the table as collateral the banks pulled all offers off the table. And all of this comes pretty much from Ronnie's inner circle of people that he went to KC with and did all the Tech certifications. I don't have any idea what Ronnie's finances are nor do I care. I signed on to be a track sponsor when all of this started several years ago. Not sure how long that would/should be valid or if it ever was. I really thought he had his stuff together on this deal and was as I'm sure everyone was disappointed when this died the death that it has. I believe it's time for Ronnie and the guys to stand up and admit that this deal is dead and go from there. If you go to their forum it was pretty much taken over by spammers and I guess they realized no one else was reading or posting on it and they have even stopped posting on it.

This just seems to keep going on and on. Heard the other day that it's not dead yet. They are moving the track down Hwy 19 about a mile and the financing may be becoming a reality.

15 acres? What's he gonna do with that? Not a lot of land to put a 3/4 long Drag strip on, unless he is only doing 1/8 mile now.

Car Doc and I saw Ronnie last night at the Wentzville Rod Run/Car Cruise. He didn't mention anything about the track and we didn't ask.
