OK, I'm gonna keep the honda spree cause its an awesome little pit bike, but for two up riding its way too small. I was off work today and decided to look for a bigger scooter on ebay and craigs list. I found (and went and bought) a 2008 korean made 150cc 1 owner scooter with only 272 miles on it. It has a FM stereo, alarm system, lockable trunk, disk brakes front and rear, and came with a helmet, gloves, cover, and tool kit. We've put about 30 miles on it this afternoon and it runs fantastic and will cruise 50mph with ease. I'm gonna get license plates for it and drive it to work once in a while. I parked it in the garage next to the spree and I swear I could hear the spree wimpering

Just put another 65 miles on the big scooter. Savannah and I rode 26 miles away to get it inspected. Its kind of hilly around here and with both of us on it it cruised between 45 and 55 mph. We ran 60 mph on level ground for a couple miles, it still had more, but since the speedo numbers turn red at 50 I guess thats like a redline and shouldnt run past that. I'm happy with the scooter, but cant afford to go racing this weekend after buying it yesterday I still can race at KCIR the next two weekends

Use some tie downs and strap them together side by side. You can rack up the miles on both at the same time. You won't fall down on the low water bridges either. ;D

;D, no John, I'm gonna try to keep my rigging skills away from the big scooter. Right now its smooth, quiet, and comfortable, after I dennyrig something its usally rough, loud, and uncomfortable!

But think at 50mph you can rack up the miles twice as fast.

Milelage report 10/21/10 With the cold weather and the time change making it almost dark when I get home from work, we havent been putting many miles on the scooters lately. We put another 15 miles on the big scooter last night after dark. It has a much brighter headlight than the spree, and the large windshield gives better wind protection when its cold out. Today we took the little scooter on a 32 mile ride. Odometer now shows 2225 miles. Thats 2007 miles we have put on it since March! ;D Big scooter is only showing 732 miles on the clock, thats 460 miles we put on it in just over a month. Next year the little spree will be used for pit bike duty only, and we'll see how many miles we can rack up on the big one. ;D

Rode the big scooter a few times through the winter when ever the weather allowed, and have rode it to work twice so far this spring. Savannah and I put 55 miles on it today riding over to Hermann to visit my sister. The little spree hasnt been out much, just a few short trips around town. I've been to the track twice this year, but didnt take a scooter.
